Nathan brings a strong background in public policy and nonprofit work to NAWE. After graduating from Ohio University with a degree in Political Science, he went on to earn his Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University. During his studies, Nathan worked in legislative affairs and public policy roles in local and regional governance, focusing on transportation and infrastructure policy.
Most recently, Nathan served as a Nonprofit Strategy and Program Development Fellow at the American Maritime Congress (AMC), where he worked to advance U.S. maritime policy priorities through advocacy with congressional offices and federal agencies, and helped establish a new industry nonprofit organization. During his time with AMC, he developed a strong passion for maritime issues and is excited to bring this experience and passion to NAWE. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys hiking, crocheting, and traveling. He looks forward to building relationships across the waterfront employer community.
